The height of the Common Bistort from the roots to the top of the stem reaches 60-80cm, but the flowers can grow higher still. Grows in damp soil, and is commonly found near running water, although the number of sites is shrinking slowly. Popular with butterflies.
Perennials are plants that live for more than 2 years, generally flowering annually and dying back during the winter. Our range has been specially selected to help you create colourful displays in your garden which will attract and benefit insects such as butterflies and bees.
