Description
This best-selling bird feeder for mealworms and suet pellets has a roof to keep the rain off the bird food. It is supplied in two parts for easy self assembly. Dried Mealworms are welcomed by a variety of species in your garden in spring and summer, although the species that really could be renamed the 'mealworm gourmet' is the Robin.
Providing dried mealworms for birds is a great way to help supplement natural bird food supplies for birds; this is particularly important from April to September. Ideally, dried insects should be put out for birds at the same time every day, so they can grow accustomed to this new food source. Rehydrating dried mealworms can make them easier to digest for birds - simply dip them in water to soften them.
