Apprentice Accounts Assistant

Role and Responsibilities:

Throughout this apprenticeship, the Accounts Assistant will develop their skills to:


  • Post Invoices
  • Check and match delivery notes to invoices
  • Query resolution
  • Accurately Input Data on to Accountancy Systems
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Purchase ledger
  • Provide additional admin support


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Numeracy
  • Problem solving
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight month end deadlines
  • Ability to think logically, consider all relevant aspects and carry out basic analysis on information


  • Must have a good level of communication skills and a minimum of GCSE A-C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Must have a willingness to learn, have a strong commitment to customer service and a proactive approach.



Danish Sales & Customer Service Advisor


Role and Responsibilities

  • Delivering first-class customer service
  • Responding to written and verbal enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Be an enthusiastic advocate for our products and brand, using product knowledge to build relationships that enhance customer loyalty and increase sales
  • Tracking customers parcels, escalating cases where required
  • Keeping customers informed and up to date as to the status of their order, offering alternatives to out of stock items
  • Confidently up and cross-selling
  • Monitoring and responding to online reviews and service feedback
  • Putting forward ideas for new products and suggesting improvements to existing products
  • Accurately recording customer data in accordance with legal requirements under the Data Protection Act
  • Supporting the Sales & Customer Service Supervisor with any other duties, as required in the context of the role


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Fluent/Native verbal and written communication skills in Danish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Passion for delivering outstanding Customer Service
  • Ability to problem solve and find a resolution
  • Competent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in a customer facing role


Preferred Skills:

  • Proven track record of telephone-based customer service role
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented

These are sold under the CJ Wildlife brand name. Over the past seven years we have established mail order and trade operations in Holland, Germany, Ireland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden and Austria.

We also have exclusive licences to manufacture, distribute and promote products on behalf of various third party wildlife-related organisations.
