Simply place the house in a quiet, shady, and cool spot in your garden, ideally near a pond if you have one, to encourage amphibians to move in. While it can provide a safe daytime shelter year-round, the best time to add a frog and toad house is in late summer through autumn, when amphibians are searching for frost-free places to hibernate.

By offering this shelter, you’ll be helping frogs and toads find a safe home for winter, while also enjoying the natural pest control these much-loved creatures provide in your garden.

By purchasing this product, you will be supporting the essential work carried out by the National Trust to care for historic places, countryside and coastline, and the wildlife that lives there. A minimum of £60,000 per year will be given to the National Trust through sales of their range of products.
