How can I pay?
We accept payments by credit/debit card (which will be immediately charged), PayPal or Klarna Pay Later.
When paying for your order via Klarna Pay Later, this means that you first receive your order up front and get up to 30 days to pay without any interest and fees. Klarna will send you the invoice by email and offer you the option to pay 30 days after CJ Wildlife has sent the order. Should something go wrong, you are also covered by Klarna's buyer protection. Another advantage is that you can easily see and manage your invoices by logging or via the Klarna app.
Please note that we cannot accept cash or cheque payments for post, phone or web orders.
Delivery and Returns
Orders over £35 qualify for FREE next working day delivery to most UK* postcodes. For orders under £35, we continue to heavily subsidise the cost of postage, packaging, and insurance, offering you a very reasonable delivery charge of £3.99 per order, regardless of size.
All orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday, or by 11am on Fridays, are packed and dispatched the same day using a 24-hour DHL service, for delivery the next working day to most UK* and British Isles addresses. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be dispatched the next working day for next working day delivery to most UK* postcodes.
Example:
- Order placed Monday before 1pm → Delivered Tuesday by 6pm
- Order placed Monday after 1pm → Delivered Wednesday by 6pm
Orders are delivered via DHL with no signature required. You will receive tracking updates by email or SMS, and you can also leave special delivery instructions or set your delivery preferences.
DHL delivers Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm (excluding public holidays).
*Delivery to some postcodes may take longer due to carrier network limits. See below for affected areas:
Up to 48 hours: AB21–56, BT, FK17–21, G63, GY1–10, IM, IV1–63, JE1–5, KW0–14, PA20–78, PH15–50, TR8, 10, 12, 13, 19, 26 & 93
Up to 72 hours: HS1–9, KA27–28, KW15–17, PA80–88, ZE1–3
Orders under 1kg may be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class at our discretion. Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery of these items.

Discounts
To redeem a discount using a promotional code, the code must be quoted at the start of your call (for phone orders) or entered during checkout (for online orders).
Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively - if a code is not used at the time of purchase, we cannot apply it afterwards or offer a refund.

Any refunds issued for purchases made using a gift card will be issued as gift card credit. Gift cards cannot be redeemed against the purchase of gift cards.
Bird Food Subscriptions
Once you sign up to one of our bird food subscriptions, your monthly order will be sent out on the exact day you started your subscription. For example, if you join on the 12th, you can expect your order to be dispatched on the 12th of each month. We'll process the payment about three days before sending it out. You can edit and cancel your bird food subscription at any time by accessing your account.
