We’ve been creating high-quality bird food in the UK since 1987. From the start, our founders and in-house ornithologists have focused on doing things properly, putting birds first, using the right ingredients and never cutting corners.
Every CJ Wildlife mix is carefully developed using decades of research and real-world testing. We select premium ingredients and expertly blend them to deliver the nutrition wild birds need to thrive all year round, based on how birds naturally feed and what truly benefits them.
As pioneers of wild bird food, we were among the first to introduce high-energy mixes, no-mess blends, sunflower hearts, nyjer seed and kibbled peanuts, as well as specialist foods for other wildlife. Our experience means we know exactly how to create bird food that keeps gardens full of healthy, returning birds.
We produce and distribute our high-quality bird food at our own farm. Seeds and nuts are carefully cleaned on site before being expertly mixed and packaged, ensuring complete quality control at every stage. By keeping everything in-house, we know exactly what goes into our bird food and how it is handled. It means consistently fresh, reliable bird food made to the standards we believe wild birds deserve, nothing but the best for the birds that visit your garden.
The more variety you offer, the more bird species you are likely to attract. If you have a particular species in mind, we can help you choose the food they love most. Simply select the bird you want to attract to see the best options. Remember, birds naturally choose food that gives them the most energy, so high-calorie bird food is always a great choice.
Store bird food in a cool, dry place and use within six months for best quality. Any food left uneaten in the garden for more than ten days should be removed. In mild or damp weather, peanuts should not be left out for longer than one week. For more information, visit our FAQs page.

Our suet bird food is rich in calories, protein and essential nutrients to support garden birds throughout the year.
