Very Berry Suet Cake for Birds 500ml

This Peanut Cake Tube, also known as a suet cake, is enriched with berries, giving it a natural raspberry colour and an appealing flavour for wild birds. It is particularly popular with fruit-loving species such as blackbirds, song thrushes and starlings.

Peanut cakes are among the highest-energy foods we produce and are consistently well received by garden birds. Made from a carefully balanced blend of animal and vegetable fats and bound with peanut flour, they provide concentrated energy and attract a wide range of species.

The cake can be fed from a hanging or pole-mounted suet feeder, such as our dedicated peanut cake and suet feeders, designed to hold it securely. It can also be broken into pieces and placed on a bird table. For smaller or more timid birds, including dunnocks and wrens, the cake can be chopped into small pieces (around 1 cm cubes) and scattered around the edge of the feeding area, helping more birds feed safely and without competition.
