Description
Our Peanut Cakes are one of the highest-calorie foods we offer and are a firm favourite among garden birds. Made from a nourishing blend of animal and vegetable fats and bound with peanut flour, they’re an irresistible energy boost for a wide variety of species.
Loved by tits, finches, woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Treecreepers, Goldcrests and Robins, these versatile cakes can be offered in a hanging or pole-mounted feeder, placed on a feeding table, or chopped into small 1cm cubes and scattered around the garden. This last method is ideal for attracting smaller or more timid ground-feeding birds such as Dunnocks, Wrens and Blackbirds.
This National Trust Peanut Cake Square includes added mealworms for an extra protein hit, a real treat for Robins and other insect-eating birds.
