National Trust Original Peanut Cake 300g

Made to our own unique recipe, these Peanut Cake Squares, also known as Suet Blocks for Birds, are an excellent source of essential fats and calories, offering some of the best quality, energy-rich fat squares available for your garden visitors.

These cakes are among the highest-calorie foods we produce and have proven to be a phenomenal success with a wide variety of bird species. Formulated with a blend of animal and vegetable fats and bound with peanut flour, they’re simply irresistible to birds. They’re especially popular with tits, finches, woodpeckers, nuthatches, treecreepers, goldcrests, and robins.

You can feed them using a hanging or pole-mounted feeder, or chopped up on a bird table. For smaller and more timid species, such as dunnocks, wrens, and blackbirds, try cutting the cakes into 1cm cubes and scattering them around the edge of your feeding area.

By purchasing this product, you will be supporting the essential work carried out by the National Trust to care for historic places, countryside and coastline, and the wildlife that lives there.
