The 32mm entrance hole is suitable for a range of cavity-nesting birds including Great Tits, House Sparrows, Pied Flycatchers and Nuthatches. A durable metal entrance plate surrounds the hole, helping protect nestlings from predators such as woodpeckers that may attempt to enlarge the opening.

Once the breeding season has finished, the side panel opens easily for cleaning, allowing you to remove old nesting material. A clean nest box is far more appealing to birds returning the following year and can also provide a cosy overnight shelter during colder winter months.
